Taking the first steps to start the therapeutic process can be anxiety provoking. As a clinician, I strive to establish an environment in which clients feel comfortable, safe, and free of judgment. I aim to offer compassionate and collaborative care. As a first-generation Mexican American woman, I understand the importance of mental health and societal pressures in marginalized communities. It is important to me to get to know the different parts of a client’s life in order to tailor therapy to meet their unique needs. I speak English and Spanish, and welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities.
