I have updated knowledge of many therapeutic approaches that can be utilized to help each unique client. I intend to work alongside my client and help each client feel comfortable and relaxed during our time together. My goal as a therapist is to help individuals work through difficult situations while maintaining their dignity and building their self-worth. I believe every person is good and has so much to offer, and with guidance, I hope to help them find that within themself. When working with a client, I will take time to genuinely understand their perceptions of reality. I believe that people have choice and responsibility, that change must come from a client's desire for it, and that a client is the only one who can change themselves. Therefore, my goal as a therapist is to help my clients reach a place of self- awareness where they are conscious of their greatness and capabilities and use that to help them achieve their goals and ultimately live their best life. As a therapist, I intend to demonstrate compassion and care to my client, making them feel safe in our sessions. In addition, I will work with my client to create an environment of growth where they feel confident that our time together will be used to its fullest. My goal is for my clients to feel genuinely heard and understood and for clients to understand and utilize their potential and capabilities to reach their goals.
