I am dedicated to providing equitable, whole-person care that addresses diverse and underserved populations' unique mental health needs. My work is rooted in fostering an environment of empathy and trust, especially when supporting marginalized communities, including the LGBTQIA+ community and unhoused individuals. My counseling philosophy is centered on cultural responsiveness, evidence-based practices, and a strengths-based approach that empowers clients to take an active role in their healing process. My goal is to support clients in building resilience, developing self-awareness, and navigating challenges by creating a safe and supportive therapeutic space. With over a decade of experience in program leadership and a strong academic foundation, including an MSEd in School Counseling and advanced training in Mental Health Counseling, I blend my counseling expertise with a commitment to equity and inclusion. I am passionate about fostering transformative change by addressing mental health needs and empowering individuals to thrive.
